UV lamps for birds
Exotic birds really need sunlight. Special lamps are used for additional or full illumination. If the bird has the opportunity to be in sunlight, the illumination lamp can be as an addition. Daylight hours should be 12-14 hours in summer and 10-12 hours in winter. It is recommended to change lamps annually as its spectrum changes (the lamp burns out) Fluorescent lamps must be used with an electronic puco-regulator (EPRA) as normal (PRA) causes unwanted flickering.
NB! When placing light sources, remember to protect your pet from electricity. Parrots (especially large ones) may be of interest to the wires and parts of the lighting device.
