Back Zoo Nature Discovery Brick is made from coconut husk and compressed into a compact brick. By adding water, the brick expands into an airy, fiber-rich bedding with plenty of volume. This allows you to quickly create a stable and natural floor structure in the birdcage or rodent enclosure.
The bedding is 100% natural and biodegradable, forming an environmentally responsible alternative to sand or beech chips. The material retains moisture without quickly developing mold, contributing to more stable humidity in the enclosure. This is especially important for birds, which ideally require a humidity of approximately 50–60%. During dry periods, such as in winter, moistening the bedding can help to noticeably increase humidity. Thanks to its compact fiber structure, it creates less dust than sand and is less likely to be worked out of the cage, while still allowing animals to dig and forage in it just as they do in the wild.
