First day: 1 full measuring spoon for 50 liters of water.
Second day: 1/2 measuring spoon for 50 liters of aquarium water.
Third day: 1/4 measuring spoon for 50 liters of aquarium water.
Adjust the quantity according to the aquarium’s content.
After 72 hours (3 days), the treatment is completed, and a 50% water change is recommended. Please note that you should constantly monitor your ‘waste’ parameters, such as NH3/NH4 and NO2, to ensure they do not exceed critical levels. When a large number of planaria/worms die at once, these levels can rise in the aquarium, and an immediate water change can be performed when parameters reach near critical levels.
Do not use NO Planaria in combination with wanted snails. This is for safety reasons, because not all species/groups can be thoroughly tested. There have been tests with approximately 20 different types of snails, with no unusual cases.
NB! Biomax NO Planaria kills snails and planaria, which causes a lot of waste to enter the water when these animals perish. Keep an eye on your water levels and ensure the quick removal of dead animals.
The active ingredient in NO Planaria can be toxic not only to planaria but also to most snail species, so that snails may die during and shortly after treatment. After completing the course, perform several significant water changes and use fresh activated carbon/Purigen for 1–2 weeks before reintroducing the snails. In general, a minimum waiting period of about 2–3 weeks is considered safe, while for sensitive ornamental snails, it is recommended to wait even longer (the waiting time may be as long as 4–5 months). It is also advisable to try reintroducing a “test snail” first.
